Junior Graphic Designer


We are looking for a highly creative junior graphic designer who can take conceptual ideas and create visual representations, both in print and electronic media. Our ideal candidate will have working knowledge of current design software and be skilled with every step of the design process from concept to the final deliverable.


The graphic designer should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. The successful candidate will have an understanding of branding and marketing, with the ability to vary style and layouts depending on the project. If you think you have what it takes to bring ideas to life with visual impact, we want to hear from you.


  • Must be excellent in time management, the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining client relationships
  • Self-motivated yet customer-focused
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company
  • Provide support to management team
  • Production Graphic Designer, creating brochures, flyers, social media graphics, videos, animations, logos, business cards, letterhead, signage, tradeshow booths, flyers, postcards, mailers, posters and more!

 

Technical Skills:

 

  • Proven work experience in a similar role is a plus
  • Must have experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Ability to meet deadlines with quick turnaround when required
  • Experience in photography is a plus
  • Videography is a plus
  • Animation is a major plus
  • Excellent decision-making abilities
  • Organizational skills
  • Experience in time management and multi-tasking
  • Ability to build consensus and relationships among clients and the team
  • Mac and PC knowledge
  • Asana, preferred but not required

 

Benefits:

  • Full time (Mon-Fri - 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM with working lunch)
  • Paid Holidays
  • 64 Hours or 8 Days Paid Personal Time (Vacation/Sick)
  • Increases to 128 hours or 16 days after one year of employment

  • Salary range, based on experience, starting at $39,000
